The Cambridge Audio AXR100 Stereo Receiver features a massive 100 watts per channel, a dedicated subwoofer speaker output for improving bass and two sets of speaker outputs. It also features analogue inputs, digital inputs, a phono stage, an FM/AM receiver with RDS and a 3.5mm input. In addition, the built-in Bluetooth receiver allows you stream your favourite music from your smartphone, tablet or PC.
The AXR100 is built for listening to music, and appreciating how it’s been recorded, from a variety of sources – including its own integrated tuner. With all the talk of streaming, it’s sometimes easy to forget the simple pleasure of radio. Turn it on, and it just works. With AXR100 you can programme up to 40 favourite stations and retrieve them, without having to re-scan. Station information, thanks to RDS, is shown on the white LED dot matrix display.
Moving magnet phono compatibility means it works with a wide range of turntables – including that vintage one you’ve always wanted to dust off. Soon you’ll be playing the records you already own and planning the next purchases.
The AXR100 features three pairs of analogue RCA inputs, moving magnet phono section for a turntable and a pair of recording outputs. There’s a single digital coax in, as well as 2 optical connectors. Hi-fi quality speaker binding posts (connectors), for 2 sets of speakers, mean that thick cable connects securely for an authentic sound.
