The new Hifiman Arya Unveiled headphones feature proprietary stealth magnets. These magnets have an innovative shape that minimizes turbulence and sound wave reflection, allowing sound to pass through the magnetic gaps without degradation. This advanced design ensures superior sound clarity by eliminating the distortion typically caused by traditional magnetic designs. As a result, the Arya Unveiled offers an unparalleled listening experience, free from the unwanted effects caused by obstructive magnetic structures.
Headphones typically use a mesh with a lower opening ratio for the grill leading to reflections and refraction detrimental to sound quality. The incredibly light nanometer thickness diaphragm is easily disturbed by sound waves reflected / refracted by the mesh. Therefore, HiFiMAN uses a window shade design to increase the opening rate, maximize the grill exposure and reduce the probability of reflection and refraction. The result: dramatically improved sound quality.
The window shade design however, cannot completely avoid reflection and refraction. Only by eliminating the window shade + grill design will near lossless sound quality be achieved. Low distortion, high transient response, comprehensive improvement of dynamics and details.

Specially designed Magnetic Veils have been introduced to protect the fully open drivers of the Arya Unveiled.
Due to the magnetic properties of the driver, it's important to cover the ear cups with these Veils to avoid damage caused by absorption of magnetic objects when not in use.
