LUXMAN

The Luxman PD-151 MKII is a new highly anticipated belt-drive integrated analog player. This model is equipped with LUXMAN’s original static balance type tone arm, the LTA-309, and most notably features technology developed by the Japanese brand SAEC. Looking at motor quality, which is an important factor when considering turntables, this low-speed high-torque motor uses low-acoustic noise bearings and internal construction. Technics 

Technics include the SL-1200G and SL-1210G Series Grand Class Direct Drive Turntable–which is updated internally with redeveloped features that create the highest performance direct-drive turntable. The new motor with no iron core eliminates cogging, including the twin-rotor which reduces the bearing load while maintaining high torque. These new models are ideal for the three-layered construction of brass and aluminum die-cast platter. As mentioned earlier, the platter material is very important to consider. This covers its entire rear surface, eliminating unnecessary resonance, thereby achieving high rigidity and vibration damping.
